Winter Lights 2022

By admin 16.02.2022

We couldn’t be happier about the success of this event, as gloomy late January and early February were brightened at the Mill with a blaze of sumptuous and exciting colours and patterns created by light, on and in the Mill buildings and the gardens.

Accompanying music and an audio tale of the history of the Mill added to the experience, we have received an enthusiastic response about all we had to offer: as well as the light and audio shows there were magical characters such as a stilt man to chat to, children’s teatime events, a sensory day and quiet evening for those wanting a more peaceful experience, a cocktail stand, and hot drinks and food in the café to take away the chill of the winter evenings.

How are we going to top that? Well, you can have your say! If you visited our Winter Lights, we’d love to hear what you thought about it. All feedback is really helpful for planning future events and also letting our funders National Lottery Heritage Fund  know what we are up to!
