Beaming off is when we transfer the warp threads from the big warping wheel to the warp beam, which goes into the back of the loom.

Silk Production Videos
These videos are available to watch within the Mill to help explain the silk weaving process. Start with winding, the process of preparing the silk warp threads on the top floor. The second video shows the warping process, getting the silk warp ready to take downstairs to the loom. The last video shows a loom being prepared for use and finally in action.
