From the A34 southbound (from Newbury and Oxford)
- Leave the A34 12 miles south of Newbury, following sign for Whitchurch.
- After 4 miles, in the centre of Whitchurch, follow Winchester (A34).
- Whitchurch Silk Mill is on the right.
From the A303
- Leave the A303 for the A34 (Newbury and Winchester).
- Take the A34 northbound (Newbury and Oxford).
- After 4 miles leave the A34 for Whitchurch and follow the road into town.
- Whitchurch Silk Mill is on the left.
From London and the M3
- Leave the M3 at Junction 8 (The South West and Andover).
- Take the A303 westbound (The South West and Andover).
- After 9 miles leave the A303 for the A34 (Newbury and Winchester).
- Take the A34 northbound (Newbury and Oxford).
- After 4 miles leave the A34 for Whitchurch and follow the road into town.
- Whitchurch Silk Mill is on the left.
From the south coast and the M3
- Leave the M3 at Junction 9 for the A34 northbound (Oxford and the Midlands).
- After 14 miles leave the A34 for Whitchurch and follow the road into town.
- Whitchurch Silk Mill is on the left.
Car Parking
There are two parking spaces reserved for disabled visitors within the Mill forecourt. A valid Blue Badge must be displayed.
General parking can be found on nearby streets, but please be aware of any restrictions in place.
Three free car parks are located within easy walking distance of the Mill:
Winchester Road Use SAT NAV RG28 7HP. Signposted ‘Community Centre, Library and Silk Mill’. Please note there is a sharp turn into the car park. There are 29 spaces including two disabled parking spaces, two electric charging bays and one coach bay. There is a 2m height restriction, if your vehicle is higher than 2m please telephone as we can arrange for this to be opened for your visit.

Church Street RG28 7AD (signposted ‘FREE P’) – 13 spaces.
Bell Street RG28 7AE – 76 spaces including two disabled.Coach Parking
Coach parking can be arranged via the Mill, subject to the availability of the coach bay in the Winchester Road car park.

On foot
Whitchurch Silk Mill is signposted from the roundabout in the centre of Whitchurch and can be found on the right, just before the road bridge over the River Test, and opposite Tesco Express.

By bike
Whitchurch is easily accessible by bicycle from Winchester, Andover, Basingstoke and Newbury.
From Winchester – Head north through Kings Worthy, Stoke Charity and Micheldever Station.
From Andover – Head to Andover Down, and to avoid continuing on the B3400 go south to the Test Valley through Longparish, then along the River Test at Tufton.
From Basingstoke – Avoid the B3400. Instead, from Oakley follow the lanes to the south of the B3400 through Steventon and to the north of Micheldever Station.
From Newbury – The best routes are either side of the A34, through either Ashmansworth / Binley, or via Burghclere / Ashley Warren. Avoid cycling on the A34.
There are four bicycle parking racks available for use within the Mill forecourt.

By train
The Mill is 0.7 miles and 15 minutes’ walk from Whitchurch Station and clearly signposted. Whitchurch is on the South Western Railway London Waterloo to Exeter line. Journey times, as follows:
Overton – 6 minutes
Andover – 8 minutes
Basingstoke – 15 minutes
Salisbury – 28 minutes
Woking – 35 minutes
London Waterloo – 65 minutes
