Deep rooted in Chinese tradition, the story of silk has come a long way since the mythical unravelling of a cocoon in the bottom of an ancient Chinese Empress’s cup of tea. We will be celebrating our cultural connection, with Chinese New Year falling in the middle of the Winter Lights this year.
Join us for a special performance by the Lion Dance UK team, who will be entertaining us with their artistic and acrobatic performance at 6pm led by Dai Tau Fut, the big headed Buddha. There will be plenty of opportunity for photographs afterwards with the performers, and a Make Your Own Dancing Lion craft activity in the Mill.
Free with admission, buy your tickets in advance here to make use of the quick access entrance.
